Last Tuesday was another exciting day at Spin A Yarn. Martin Storey popped into the shop before the Rowan Fashion Show which was held in the evening at the Devon Guild.

Martin is such a lovely friendly guy, very easy to chat to and quite modest considering he has been designing for Rowan for 20 years!.

Rowan sent some beautiful samples to the show and lots and lots of balls of wool for our raffle. We were delighted to raise £131.60 for the Devon Air Ambulance.

Our models are amazing, so confident and beautiful. Everyone agreed that it was the best show ever. Steven excelled himself with the food and there didn't seem to be long queues for the food. Just lots of customers sitting around knitting, chatting and enjoying themselves especially when it was time to try on the beautiful Rowan samples.
