We were so excited today when 4 large boxes arrived from Rowan. One was full of the new Rowan Mag 47, and amazingly 2 boxes were full of all the sample garments which are in the new magazine. They are so beautiful we can't wait to try them on at the Fashion Show!

Then the 4th box has lots of beautiful Rowan yarn for raffle prizes. We're raising money for the Devon Air Ambulance so Rowan have kindly donated some prizes for us.

Its going to be a wonderful evening we can't wait!! There are so many garments I think I'll have to enlist more customers to be models for the evening.

The forecast of heavy snow on Dartmoor again persuaded me to stay in Bovey last night as otherwise I would have been stuck at home and the shop would have had to stay closed. As we are in the middle of a sale I really wanted to open up.

Anyway I had a very pleasant night at the Cromwell Inn in Bovey. My only complaint was that the energy saving bulbs were not bright enough for a knitter!!

My family emailed me a couple of photos to show me what I was missing.

A snowplough cleared the snow off the road so I was able to get home tonight and have every confidence about getting down the hill again tomorrow.
