The main news which I've been waiting to tell everyone is that we are expecting to move to bigger premises very soon, hopefully at the end of June! We've known for ages that there was a possibility of a move but have been waiting for the tenants to move out. They moved out this last weekend but we still haven't managed to sign any papers. Next week everything will be sorted I hope.

I've already planned where everything is going to go. We'll have a local section and a luxury section and will fit in a couple of new suppliers such as Garn studio.

Best os all we will have lots more space for workshops and will be able to spread books and patterns around the room, instead of squeezing everyone into a small space.

I definitely be blogging to let everyone know when we get the official goahead

So much has been happening that I haven't looked at the blog for a while. How embarrassing to discover that the last blog was all about the snow when now it is beautifully and sunny.

Last week Ali and I travelled by train, knitting all the way up to HolmFirth to visit Rowan yarns for a wonderful Retail event. We had a preview of all the new winter yarns and books and fell in love with Alpaca Cotton and Lima . We had a brilliant time trying on the new samples and enjoying fashion shows.

Holmfirth is a lovely place full of beautiful unusual clothes and we enjoyed a wonderful Thai meal in the evening. Certainly, we'd recommend a visit to that part of the world.
