Just had to tell you about my trip to New York with my daughter for 4 days just before Christmas. It was our first trip and first morning walking across Brooklyn Bridge I exclaimed "Wouldn't it be brillant if it snowed like in the movies"

Next morning we woke up to heavy snow falling. So we took a subway up to Central Park to find a winter Wonderland. It was so beautiful. We enjoyed playing in the snow then went off shopping.

I ofcourse had googled all the yarn shops in New York and was hoping to visit them all. But with my daughter and the snow I only managed one - the beautiful Purl in SoHo. It was certainly worth the visit, however. Such a pretty shop with beautiful yarns as I hope you will see in the photos. The best bit was seeing a swift in constant use. I'm now determined to get one for Spin A Yarn!
